When man imposes his own ideas of the perfect garden, bees can be forgotten in the process. Throughout New Zealand in recent years, there has been a proliferation of low maintenance gardens. Although people have less work to do, clipped lawns, plastic grass, native grasses and palm trees to do not provide the food that honey bees need in the form of pollen. “Bees on the Hunt” show the workers travelling long distances to find pollen, through the endless landscape of flower-less grasses.

All Giclee prints are digitally reproduced and printed using pigment based archival ink. The image will come with a border of between 10mm to 50mm, depending on the size of the print you order.
Limited Edition prints are printed on archival museum quality 100% white textured archival cotton rag, 310gsm fine art matt. Cotton rag is a heavy-weight archival velvet fine art paper that is bright white, water-resistant and made from 100% cotton fibres. The museum quality rag is acid, lignin and chlorine free. Each print comes signed and numbered and will be shipped to you ready for framing.
Open Edition prints are printed using archival ink on 210gsm Enhanced Matt. Enhanced Matte is a mid-weight premium art paper with a smooth matte surface and good rigidity for professional art prints. It’s a natural white, acid-free and designed for the specific use of archival pigment inks.

A2 and smaller will be shipped in a shipping bag by courier.
Over A2 will be sent in a tube.
Please allow up to 7 working days for shipping.
International Freight:
All prints will be sent in a tube by regular shipping. We estimate from 2 weeks, however, we cannot guarantee time due to disrupted shipping caused by Covid19.

If for any reason, you are not happy with your print, please contact Karen Newborn by email and we will discuss any problems you have with the product.
